Welcome back to another exciting season of GCBA basketball at the Juvenile Boys’ level. This year we have over 50 new and returning players.
Players have been randomly assigned to one of four teams.
Player/Coaches have also been assigned to lead/guide each team and ensure equal play amongst players. These will remain as the team rosters until the mid/end of November. At which time, a review will be conducted of scores, player participation, etc. A team balancing exercise will then determine any changes to the rosters for the duration of the season.
Regular season games will commence on Oct 17th, 2009 at AVALON Public School. Please refer to the game schedules and times below.
Regular season games will be followed by a Best of 3 series playdown commencing late February and culminating with the JB HL Championship on SAT MAR 06.
Once again, we expect to offer players a supervised OPEN PRACTICE GYM.(TBC) Depending on player turnout, the gym will be open for players to scrimmage, practise shooting or fundamentals under the supervision of the JB Convenor. The Gym location and time TBC
